24 SS COLLECTION

The theme of this HANNAH SHIN 24 SS collection is 'FUTURE TERRAIN'. In terms of formativeness, the formativeness of things such as the universe, meteorites, and aurora, meaning "future," and the formativeness of strata, weathering, and sediments, meaning "topography," were fused and expressed. Semantically, by showing collisions, weathering (cutting), the resulting scars, the accumulation of other soil on top of those scars, and the convergence and recovery that occur during the passage of time from the "past" to the "future" in the same space called "terrain", I tried to suggest various collisions that occur over time, reconciliation and convergence after collisions, recovery resulting from this, and development toward a better future. The accumulation after erosion and weathering of the terrain is expressed by using a silkscreen technique with silver foil and powder after engraving laser cutting. 23 FW Collection

2023 COLLECTION LIGHT OF SPACE Inspired by Norman Foster’s high-tech architectures’ formativeness, this collection reinterpreted high technical and futurism in an eco-friendly way. Under the subtheme, ‘light of space’, we tried to express clairvoyance of light, lightness of high-tech building materials, and variety of light changes in space. To express the harmony of the new and the old that Norman Foster pursued, we used the new and old expression techniques such as laser cutting, 3D printing, DTP, leather molding, and draping harmoniously. For sustainability, the important characteristic of Norman Foster architecture, we used recycled polyester and upcycled leather as the main fabrics, and 3D CLO and 3D PRINT technologies in the pattern making and fabric production process.

COSMIC GARDEN

Inspired by fungus' spreading power and shape, this collection expressed that all living things are intertwined and connected. Under the theme of 'biomimicry' as a powerful method of sustainable fashion, we pursued the ideal coexistence of nature and technology. We used re/upcycle material(such as car seat leather and recycled polyester) and eco-friendly and glam technologies (3d print technology, leather molding technique, and the 3D CLO).

22 PRE-FALL COLLECTION

THEME: LA PERLA NUEVA ‘The word ‘Baroque ‘ originated from “a flawed pearl”. Inspired by this, I named the main theme of this collection as ‘La nueva perla’, which means ‘the new pearl’. In this collection, ‘perla’ refers to ‘Baroque art’ and ‘neuva’ refers to ‘Optical Art’. The collection reinterpreted Baroque beauty in a contemporary optical art approach and tried to find a balance between street fashion and feminine elegance.
